During my vacation in Split, I had the pleasure of staying at the Villa Varos. This charming villa is located in the historical Varos neighborhood, just a short distance away from several notable landmarks. The most prominent of these landmarks is the Old Split, which is only 0.60 km from the villa. The Old Split is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is home to many interesting historical buildings and monuments. The narrow streets and stone houses of this area create a picturesque atmosphere that take you back in time.
Another nearby landmark is the Gregory of Nin statue, also just 0.60 km away from Villa Varos. This towering statue, created by Ivan Mestrovic, is one of the most famous landmarks in Split. It honors an important medieval bishop and serves as a symbol of Croatian identity. Additionally, within the same proximity, there is Froggyland, a unique museum displaying over 500 stuffed frogs in various human-like poses. This quirky attraction is sure to entertain and amuse visitors of all ages.
