Villa Ruza Makarska

During my recent vacation in Makarska, I was captivated by the stunning coastal scenery and rich cultural heritage of this charming Croatian town. A leisurely stroll to Kacic Square, just a kilometer away from my accommodation, offered me an opportunity to soak up the vibrant atmosphere while admiring the beautiful architecture and lively cafes. Within close proximity was the impressive St. Marc Cathedral, a historical jewel dating back to the 18th century, which further enhanced the town's picturesque skyline. The Malacological Museum and the City Museum, both also just a kilometer from the square, provided delightful insights into the region’s natural history and local culture.

One of the highlights of my trip was hiking Biokovo Mountain, roughly half a kilometer from the heart of Makarska. The dramatic elevation offered breathtaking views of the Adriatic Sea and the surrounding landscape, creating a perfect backdrop for memorable photos. After my hike, I visited the observatory located nearby, where I learned more about the stars and celestial events—a fascinating conclusion to an exhilarating day. Not far from these natural wonders lies Makarska Beach, just a kilometer away, where I enjoyed relaxing by the turquoise waters. The blend of stunning landmarks, natural beauty, and rich history made Makarska an unforgettable destination.
