Villa Rita Oase Makarska

Makarska is a picturesque coastal town situated along the stunning Dalmatian coast of Croatia, known for its vibrant atmosphere and breathtaking natural beauty. During my vacation, I found myself in awe of the majestic Biokovo Mountain, which looms just 1 km from the town center. This impressive mountain range offers a stunning backdrop to the town and presents numerous hiking trails for outdoor enthusiasts. A visit to the Biokovo Skywalk, a glass bridge that extends over the mountain’s precipice, provided an exhilarating experience with panoramic views of the Adriatic Sea and surrounding landscapes.

Adventure and excitement were never far away during my stay in Makarska. Just a short stroll from my accommodation was Parasailing Makarska, where I indulged in the thrill of flying over the shimmering waters, capturing stunning aerial vistas of the coastline. After my high-flying adventure, I relaxed at Plaza Cvitacka, a beautiful pebble beach known for its clear waters and vibrant atmosphere. The beach, along with nearby Donja Luka Beach, made for perfect spots to unwind and soak up the sun. The combination of leisure and adventure made my holiday truly unforgettable.

In addition to the natural beauty that surrounded me, I also took the opportunity to explore local landmarks, which enriched my experience in Makarska. I visited the Vepric Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes, located just 3 km from the town, a peaceful pilgrimage site that offers a serene atmosphere and stunning cascading waterfalls. I also enjoyed a trip to the Muzej Riba i Rakova, located 2 km away, which showcases the fascinating aquatic life of the Adriatic Sea. My exploration of these landmarks not only deepened my understanding of the region's culture and history but also provided a well-rounded experience that complemented the natural wonders of Makarska.
