During my recent vacation in Trogir, I was captivated by the town's rich history and stunning architecture, which earned it recognition as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Just a short distance from the historic heart of Trogir, there are numerous landmarks that illustrate its storied past and cultural heritage. The iconic Trogir Cathedral, with its intricate stone carvings and soaring bell tower, stands as a testament to two centuries of craftsmanship. Nearby, the City Hall and the Church of St. Barbara add to the enchanting ambiance, while St. Peter's Church introduces a serene touch with its beautiful Romanesque details. Exploring the cobblestone streets, I marveled at how the old town, with its medieval structures, feels frozen in time, offering a glimpse into the rich tapestry of history that defines Trogir.
Just outside the old town's walls, I found delightful activities that blended relaxation with scenic beauty. Okrug Gornji Beach, just a stone's throw away at 0.5 km, is perfect for sunbathing and enjoying the crystal-clear waters of the Adriatic Sea.
