During my recent vacation in Split, I had the pleasure of visiting the charming town of Supetar, situated on the island of Brač. This picturesque destination is not only known for its stunning coastline but also for its rich cultural heritage and family-friendly attractions. Just a stone's throw from the heart of Supetar, I explored Beach Supetrus, a delightful sandy stretch perfect for sunbathing and swimming. The area is also home to the Parish Church complex, which offers a glimpse into local history, and the awe-inspiring Church of the Annunciation, both of which are just a short walk away. For a splash of excitement, the nearby Luna Park and aqua park provide a fun-filled day for families and thrill-seekers alike, all within 1 km of the town center.

As I wandered through Supetar, I couldn't help but be drawn to the historical significance of the Supetar cemetery, which is notable for its intricate stone grave markers and the Mausoleum of the Petrinovic Family, providing a unique insight into the town’s past. Just a little further afield, I visited the Ilic House Complex, a testament to the local architectural style, located about 4 km from my base. For those looking for a scenic retreat, Acapulco Beach, about 2 km away, offers a serene atmosphere and stunning views of the Adriatic Sea. My time in Supetar was filled with memorable experiences, from enjoying its beautiful beaches to exploring its enchanting landmarks, making it a perfect complement to my vacation in Split.
