Impressions

During my vacation in Split, I had the opportunity to explore the city's vibrant historical and cultural landscape. Right in the heart of the city lies the magnificent Diocletian's Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that dates back to the 4th century. This ancient Roman palace is not only a marvel of architecture but also serves as a hub for bustling shops, restaurants, and public squares. Just a short distance from the palace, I stumbled upon the Museum of Senses, where interactive exhibits offered a playful and immersive experience, allowing visitors to engage their senses in unexpected ways. The nearby Parish Church of St. Lawrence, a charming and quaint structure, showcased Split's rich religious history and was a perfect spot for quiet contemplation.

In addition to these popular landmarks, my adventures extended beyond the city center. A short drive led me to the tranquil Beach Camp Stobrec, where the azure waters provided a refreshing break from the city's hustle and bustle. I also discovered the quaint village of Mravince, just 3 km away, where I enjoyed local charm and hospitality. For sports enthusiasts, the Sports Hall of Fame Museum, located approximately 4 km from downtown, celebrated Croatia's athletic achievements with engaging displays. As the sun set, I familiarized myself with the local nightlife at the nearby Chameleon Club, which offered a lively atmosphere. With all these attractions within easy reach, Split provided an enriching vacation experience blending history, culture, and leisure.
