Just a short stroll away, I admired the lively Riva waterfront promenade, where locals and visitors alike gather to enjoy the beautiful views of the Adriatic Sea. Nearby, the Croatian Maritime Museum offers fascinating insights into the region's seafaring history, while the Split City Museum showcases artifacts that tell the story of the city from its Roman origins to modern times. The Diocletian's Palace, a colossal structure that forms the heart of Split, is a must-visit, surrounded by a maze of narrow streets filled with shops, cafes, and bars.
In addition to these historical sites, I found the atmosphere at the Live Museum Split to be particularly engaging, where I could immerse myself in a theatrical experience of the city's past.
