Impressions

During my recent vacation in Split, I was captivated by the vibrant atmosphere and stunning scenery that this Croatian gem has to offer. One of the highlights of my trip was the beautiful Bacvice Summer Cinema, located just 0.3 kilometers from where I stayed. This charming outdoor venue provided a unique cinematic experience under the stars, where locals and tourists alike came together to enjoy classic films and contemporary favorites in a beautiful seaside setting. The warm evenings were filled with laughter and applause, creating an unforgettable ambiance that perfectly captured the essence of Split's lively culture.

Exploring further, I wandered to the magnificent Cathedral of Saint Domnius, situated about one kilometer away. This architectural marvel, which features an impressive bell tower, is a significant cultural and historical symbol of Split. The nearby Riva, the city's bustling waterfront promenade, was another must-visit destination. Dotted with cafes and restaurants, the Riva bustled with life as visitors enjoyed leisurely strolls while taking in the stunning views of the Adriatic Sea and the picturesque marina. Just a short walk further, I discovered the remarkable Diocletian's Palace and the fascinating Live Museum Split, which offered insight into the rich history of this ancient city.

In addition to these landmarks, Split Port, also located within a kilometer, served as a hub for ferry travel to nearby islands and was a fantastic spot to watch ships come and go. The lively energy of the port area added to Split's charm, creating a perfect blend of relaxation and excitement. I couldn’t resist visiting Froggyland, approximately two kilometers away, where I marveled at the quirky collection of taxidermy frogs in a playful display. Each attraction I visited contributed to my appreciation of Split's history, culture, and natural beauty, leaving me with fond memories of this enchanting city.
