During my vacation in Split, I was enchanted by the city's rich history and vibrant atmosphere, perfectly encapsulated in its array of landmarks. The Ethnographic Museum, located just 0.5 km from the city center, offers a fascinating glimpse into traditional Croatian life, showcasing artifacts that chronicle the region's cultural heritage. Nearby, the iconic Gregory of Nin statue stands at 0.3 km, inviting visitors to rub its toe for good luck, while the impressive Cathedral of Saint Domnius, also just 0.3 km away, serves as a stunning centerpiece of the city, with its well-preserved Roman architecture reflecting Split's ancient roots. Just a bit further afield, I explored the Archaeological Museum Split, located 1 km away, which houses a remarkable collection of artifacts from the Roman era, shedding light on the city's ancient past. The serene Church of Saint Martin, only 0.3 km from the center, and the church and monastery of St. Frane, also within a 0.5 km radius, are perfect stops to appreciate the architectural beauty and tranquil atmosphere of the city. For a quirky experience, Froggyland, just 0.3 km away, showcases a whimsical collection of stuffed frogs that bring a smile to any visitor's face. Finally, I made my way to the Stadion Poljud, located 2 km from the heart of Split, where I witnessed the local passion for football, enjoying a match and celebrating the lively spirit that embodies this stunning coastal city.
