Studios Lavender Split

During my recent vacation in Split, I was captivated by the vibrant atmosphere and rich history that envelops this stunning Croatian city. Nestled along the stunning Dalmatian coast, Split is a harmonious blend of ancient architecture and modern life. One of the highlights of my trip was visiting Bacvice Beach, just two kilometers from the city center. This popular sandy beach, known for its lively vibe and crystal-clear waters, was perfect for lounging in the sun and enjoying a refreshing swim. The surrounding cafes and bars added to the experience, making it a fantastic spot for relaxation and socializing.

Exploring Split's rich cultural heritage was a must, and I found myself enchanted by the numerous landmarks within just a short distance of each other. The Archaeological Museum, only two kilometers away, is home to an impressive collection of artifacts that tell the story of the region's history. A visit to the Old Split area felt like stepping back in time, with its charming cobblestone streets and medieval architecture offering a glimpse into the city’s past. The Split City Museum and the unique Live Museum Split, both nearby, provided fascinating insights into the evolution of the city and its vibrant culture.

No trip to Split would be complete without witnessing the grandeur of Diocletian's Palace. This UNESCO World Heritage site, just two kilometers from my accommodation, is an architectural marvel, complete with ancient walls and breathtaking interiors. Right next to it stands the Cathedral of Saint Domnius, a stunning example of Romanesque architecture that also holds religious significance. As I wandered through the palace’s halls and explored the cathedral, I could not help but revel in the stories that these ancient walls must hold. Visiting Split was a truly enriching experience, and each landmark I encountered further deepened my appreciation for this beautiful city.
