Lined with palm trees and bustling cafes, the Riva is a perfect place to unwind and soak in the Mediterranean atmosphere. Just a short walk away, I explored the Church of Saint Martin, a charming little church that dates back to the 5th century, located only 0.3 km from the promenade. Other nearby landmarks include the Temple of Jupiter and the Ethnographic Museum, both a mere 0.5 km away, offering a glimpse into the city's ancient history and cultural heritage.

As I ventured further into Split, I discovered the treasures at the Archaeological Museum, just 1 km from my base. It houses a remarkable collection of artifacts that narrate the story of the region from prehistoric to medieval times. For sports enthusiasts, Stadion Poljud, located 2 km away, is a must-visit for its iconic architecture and lively atmosphere during local football matches. The Split Port, also 0.5 km away, serves as a gateway to the stunning Adriatic islands, offering daily ferry connections. Lastly, wandering through Old Split, just 0.3 km from my accommodation, felt like stepping back in time, with its narrow alleys and historic buildings that showcase the unique charm of this coastal city. Each landmark contributed to an unforgettable experience, weaving together the fabric of Split's vibrant past and present.
