Soren-Sun Apt'S Supetar

During my recent vacation in Supetar, I was captivated by both the beauty and the wealth of artistic heritage that the town has to offer. Just a short stroll from the center, I visited the Ivan Rendic Gallery, located a mere 500 meters away, which showcases the work of one of Croatia's most renowned sculptors. The gallery not only provided insight into Rendic's artistic journey but also featured local artists, enriching my understanding of the region's cultural landscape. Nearby, I explored the charming Supetar Cemetery, also just 500 meters away, known for its stunning tombstones crafted by local artisans, offering a poignant reminder of the area’s deep connection to history and artistry. As I wandered further, Acapulco Beach, located about a kilometer from the center, beckoned with its crystal-clear waters and picturesque views, perfect for a leisurely afternoon by the sea.

In my exploration of Supetar, I discovered that the surrounding landmarks added to the town's charm. Just 5 kilometers away, the Jaksic Gallery stands out for its beautiful collection of contemporary art set against the backdrop of lush greenery. Meanwhile, the mausoleum of the Petrinovic Family, only 500 meters from the town center, intrigued me with its intricate architecture and historical significance. Not far away, I found the lovely Supetar Bay, approximately 1 kilometer away, where the sunset painted the sky in gorgeous hues that I will not soon forget. For a taste of local nightlife and cuisine, Gulet Barba, about 2 kilometers from the center, offered delightful dishes inspired by traditional Croatian flavors. Each of these landmarks, whether a quiet beach or a bustling gallery, contributed to a memorable and enriching experience in this idyllic town.
