Impressions

During my vacation in Split, I discovered a vibrant city rich in history and culture, beautifully nestled along the stunning Adriatic coast. One of the highlights of my trip was visiting the Museum of Senses, located only 2 km from the city center. This unique museum engages visitors through a series of interactive exhibits designed to challenge and explore the five senses. Each room provided an immersive experience that was both fun and enlightening, making it a perfect stop for families and curious minds alike. Afterward, I took a leisurely stroll through the nearby area, where I stumbled upon various charming cafes and shops that added to the local flavor.

Just a short distance away, I found the remarkable Diocletian’s Aqueduct, situated around 4 km from my accommodation. This ancient Roman structure, built in the 4th century, showcases the engineering prowess of its time and offers a fascinating glimpse into the past. The aqueduct, surrounded by lush green hills, is not only a historical landmark but also a popular spot for hiking and picnicking, making it a perfect day trip for those looking to escape the city bustle. Following my visit to the aqueduct, I headed toward the pristine Trstenik Znjan beach, which is about 4 km away and known for its crystal-clear waters and inviting atmosphere. It was a fantastic place to relax, soak up the sun, and enjoy the warm Mediterranean breeze.

Additionally, the area around Split is dotted with exciting shopping and dining options. Wettpunkt City Centar One, just 2 km from the city center, is a bustling shopping destination where I was able to indulge in some retail therapy, discovering both local and international brands. For grocery needs, Plodine, which is about 3 km away, offered a great selection of local products and fresh produce. To round off my evenings, I explored the lively nightlife scene, visiting places like Chameleon Club, located around 4 km from Split. The mixture of energetic music and a diverse crowd created an unforgettable experience. Overall, my vacation in Split was a delightful combination of relaxation, exploration, and cultural immersion.
