Impressions

During my vacation in Split, I was immediately captivated by the vibrant mix of history and modernity that this Croatian city has to offer. One of the highlights of my visit was the iconic Diocletian's Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site located just 2 kilometers from my accommodations. This ancient Roman palace, built in the 4th century AD, is not only a remarkable architectural marvel but also a lively hub of shops, cafes, and cultural events. Wandering through its well-preserved streets, I found myself immersed in the rich history while enjoying the local atmosphere, making it a perfect starting point for exploring other nearby landmarks.

Just a short distance away, I visited the Museum of Senses Split, located only 2 kilometers from the palace. This interactive museum provided a unique and playful experience, where I could engage with various exhibits designed to challenge and delight the senses. The blend of art and science in this space made for a refreshing cultural excursion. Afterwards, I decided to relax at Trstenik Znjan beach, which is approximately 4 kilometers from the city center. With its crystal-clear waters and picturesque surroundings, the beach offered a perfect escape to unwind and soak up the sun, providing a welcome contrast to the historical explorations.

In addition to the stunning beaches and cultural landmarks, the vibrant life in Split continued to unfold around me. I discovered the Sports Hall of Fame Museum, about 5 kilometers from my accommodation, where I learned about Croatia's athletic achievements and celebrated sports figures. For those looking for more modern attractions, the Wettpunkt City Centar One shopping center, just 2 kilometers away, featured a range of shops and eateries for leisurely browsing and enjoying local cuisine. In the evenings, I ventured out to the buzzing Chameleon Club, 4 kilometers from my stay, where the local nightlife came alive with music and entertainment, ensuring that my time in Split was filled with unforgettable experiences.
