During my recent vacation in Split, I was captivated by the city's rich history and stunning landmarks. One of the highlights was the nearby Diocletian's Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located just 3 km from where I stayed. This majestic palace, built by the Roman Emperor Diocletian in the 4th century, is a remarkable blend of ancient architecture and vibrant urban life, with shops, cafes, and residences intermingled among its historic walls. I also explored the Diocletianus Aqueduct, just 2 km away, which showcased impressive engineering from ancient times. Not to be missed, the Cathedral of Saint Domnius, around 5 km from the city center, stands as a magnificent symbol of the city's spiritual heritage, with its stunning bell tower offering panoramic views of Split.

In addition to these historical sites, I enjoyed some local amenities during my stay. For grocery needs, both Lidl Makarska and Plodine were conveniently located just 0.5 km away, making it easy to stock up on essentials. I also took the opportunity to relax at the picturesque Beach Camp Stobrec, a mere 2 km from my accommodation, where I soaked up the sun and enjoyed the crystal-clear waters. A visit to the Museum of Senses Split, located just 1 km away, provided a unique and interactive experience that was both fun and educational. Lastly, for some athletic inspiration, the Sports Hall of Fame Museum was just 2 km down the road, offering insights into sports history that kept me engaged during my downtime. My time in Split was a beautiful blend of ancient exploration and modern conveniences, making for a memorable vacation.
