During my recent vacation in Split, I was captivated by the city's rich history and vibrant culture, which are beautifully encapsulated in its numerous landmarks. One of the highlights of my visit was the Jaman Art Centre, just 0.5 km from my accommodation. This contemporary art hub showcases the work of local Croatian artists, providing a refreshing contrast to the city's ancient architecture. Strolling over to the Riva, the bustling waterfront promenade, I enjoyed the stunning views of the Adriatic Sea while savoring a coffee at one of the many cafes lining the boulevard. Close by, the grand Cathedral of Saint Domnius, an iconic symbol of Split, stood as a testament to the city's Roman heritage, with its stunning bell tower offering panoramic views of the surrounding area.

Exploring further, I encountered the Gregory of Nin statue, an impressive bronze figure that celebrates the city's patron saint and is a popular meeting point for both locals and visitors. The nearby Ethnographic Museum Split and Split City Museum provided fascinating insights into the region's cultural history, while the interactive exhibits at the Live Museum Split were both entertaining and educational. With all these incredible landmarks located within just half a kilometer of each other, it was easy for me to immerse myself in the beauty and heritage of Split while soaking up the lively atmosphere that defines this remarkable Croatian city.
