Nearby, the Cathedral of Saint Domnius, which is located within the palace, offered a breathtaking view from its bell tower, providing a perfect vantage point to admire the bustling Riva promenade and the shimmering Adriatic Sea. The charming streets of Old Split were a delightful maze waiting to be discovered, revealing tiny shops, artisanal crafts, and delightful eateries. Along the way, I also encountered the Live Museum Split, featuring costumed actors who brought the city's history to life in a fun and interactive way.

No visit to Split would be complete without experiencing the beauty of the Stadion Poljud, an iconic venue that serves as the home ground for the local football team, Hajduk Split. The energy surrounding the stadium during a game is palpable, capturing the spirit of the city. The church and monastery of St. Frane stood nearby, offering serenity amidst the vibrant bustle of the city. Each landmark I visited contributed to an unforgettable tapestry of experiences that made my vacation in Split nothing short of magical, leaving me yearning to return to this enchanting coastal gem.
