During my vacation in Split, I was captivated by the rich history and vibrant culture that this coastal gem of Croatia has to offer. Nestled along the Adriatic Sea, Split is a city where ancient Roman architecture seamlessly blends with contemporary life. One of the highlights of my trip was touring Diocletian's Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that dates back to the 4th century. The Temple of Jupiter, another nearby highlight, boasts an intriguing juxtaposition of history and spirituality, while the Gregory of Nin statue nearby exudes a sense of pride for Croatian heritage. The Ethnographic Museum and the Croatian Maritime Museum offered fascinating insights into the local culture and seafaring history, making each visit both educational and enjoyable.

As I strolled through the charming streets of Old Split, I took time to visit the Live Museum, where actors in historical costumes brought the past to life, creating a fun and interactive experience. The Church of Saint Martin and the nearby galleries added artistic flair to the city, showcasing local talent and craftsmanship. Each landmark contributed to my appreciation of Split, making it clear that this city is a treasure trove of history and culture.
