Close by, Froggyland—an unusual yet charming museum featuring a collection of taxidermy frogs—delighted me with its quirky appeal, while the Ethnographic Museum provided a deeper insight into local customs and traditions, just a short stroll of 300 meters from the heart of the city.

The historical richness of Split continued to unfold around every corner. Not far from my explorations lay the Split City Museum (300 meters), where I dove into the city's historical narrative through fascinating exhibits. I was particularly drawn to the iconic Gregory of Nin statue, standing proudly just 300 meters away, which has become a symbol of the city and its resistance to authority—legend has it that rubbing its toe brings good luck. The nearby Church of Saint Martin, also within close proximity, added a spiritual dimension to my visit with its serene ambiance. The Live Museum Split provided a unique interactive experience, just a 300-meter walk away, where I could immerse myself in traditional local costumes and customs, completing my journey through the historical heart of this stunning coastal city.
