Its crystal-clear waters and golden sands created the perfect backdrop for relaxation. This beach is well-known among locals and visitors alike, making it an ideal spot for sunbathing or enjoying a refreshing swim in the Adriatic Sea. With numerous amenities close at hand, including beachside cafes and water sports facilities, Beach Supetrus is a tranquil escape that captures the essence of coastal living.
Just a short stroll from the main beach is Acapulco Beach, a hidden gem located only half a kilometer away. Its more secluded atmosphere offers a different vibe, perfect for those seeking a more intimate beach experience. Families can also enjoy a trip to the nearby aqua park, located just one kilometer from Supetar. This water park features slides, pools, and activities that guarantee fun for guests of all ages. After a day of sun and splashes, Luna Park Supetar, a mere 300 meters from the town center, is another great destination for families, offering rides and entertainment that bring joy to children and adults alike.
Cultural exploration during my stay also took me to the Ivan Rendic Gallery, only half a kilometer away from Supetar. Celebrating the work of the famous Croatian sculptor, this gallery offers insight into the island’s artistic heritage. For a more extensive exploration of local history, a visit to nearby Splitska, just four kilometers from Supetar, is a must. This quaint village features beautiful stone architecture and charming narrow streets that tell stories of the past. Additionally, the iconic Tri mosta, or Three Bridges, situated one kilometer from Supetar, serves as a picturesque landmark worth visiting, providing both a fantastic view and a popular photo opportunity. Together, these sites enhance the vibrant experience of Supetar, making it a destination rich in both natural beauty and cultural depth.
