Impressions

During my vacation in Split, I was captivated by the city's rich history and vibrant culture, which seamlessly blends ancient landmarks with modern life. One of the highlights of my visit was the Stadion Poljud, located just 2 km from the city center, where I marveled at its stunning architecture and the passionate atmosphere of Croatian football matches. Closer downtown, I strolled to the Church and Monastery of St. Frane, a serene spot that showcased beautiful Baroque design and offered a glimpse into the monks' way of life. The proximity of the Split Port, a mere 0.5 km away, allowed me to soak in the coastal ambiance, as ferries and boats bustled in and out, connecting Split to nearby islands and offering stunning sea views.

Exploring Split felt like stepping back in time, especially when I visited the Live Museum Split and Froggyland, both located within just a few blocks. The Live Museum allowed me to engage with the city's history in a unique way, while Froggyland, with its quirky collection of stuffed frogs, brought a smile to my face. I also took the opportunity to visit the Ethnographic Museum Split and the charming Church of Saint Martin, both just a short walk away, enhancing my understanding of Dalmatian culture. Not far from there, I was enchanted by the Temple of Jupiter, a beautifully preserved Roman monument that underscored Split's ancient roots. Each landmark I visited not only told a story but also contributed to the lively tapestry of life in this stunning Croatian city.
