During my vacation in Split, I found myself enchanted by the city's vibrant blend of history and modernity. One of the most iconic spots I visited was the Riva, a lively promenade lined with cafes and palm trees that serves as the heart of Split. Just a short stroll away, I explored the ancient wonder of Diocletian's Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that dates back to the 4th century. Nearby, the historic Temple of Jupiter and the impressive statue of Gregory of Nin stood as testaments to the city's rich cultural heritage. I also took a leisurely walk through the charming streets of Old Split, immersing myself in the atmosphere of its medieval architecture and vivid local life.

In addition to its historical landmarks, Split offers modern conveniences that made my stay comfortable. The Joker Shopping Centre, located just 0.5 km from my accommodations, provided a fantastic shopping experience with a wide range of stores and eateries, blending seamlessly with the city's quaint charm. I also visited the Ethnographic Museum Split and the Archaeological Museum Split, both located within easy reach of the city center, where I marveled at the vast collection of artifacts that illustrated the region’s rich history. For a whimsical experience, I enjoyed a visit to Froggyland, an eccentric museum that showcased an unusual collection of stuffed frogs. The Split Port, with its vibrant atmosphere and stunning views of the Adriatic, perfectly capped my explorations, making my vacation truly unforgettable.
