Pet friendly Ivan Makarska

During my vacation in Makarska, I was captivated by the picturesque beauty of the region, set against the backdrop of the Biokovo mountains and the pristine Adriatic Sea. The Makarska Harbour, just 0.5 km from my accommodations, was a vibrant hub of activity, where local fishermen unloaded their daily catch and visitors strolled along the promenade, taking in the stunning views. Nearby, the iconic St. Marc Cathedral beckoned with its beautiful architecture and rich history. I took a leisurely walk to Kacic Square, located only 0.3 km away, where charming cafés and shops surrounded the square, creating a lively atmosphere perfect for soaking in the local culture.

Exploring further, I ventured into the enchanting Nature Park Biokovo, which is a mere 0.5 km from the town center. The park offers breathtaking hiking trails with panoramic views that showcase the stunning landscape of Makarska and the coast. After my hike, I relaxed at Makarska Beach, just 1 km from the heart of the town, where the soft sands and azure waters were inviting. The nearby Sveti Petar Lighthouse, standing proudly 1 km away, made for an excellent photo opportunity at sunset. I also strolled through the lush Forrest Park Osejava and the scenic Peninsula of St. Peter, both easily accessible within a kilometer, where I enjoyed the tranquility and natural beauty. Additionally, the Malacological Museum, located just 0.3 km from my base, provided an engaging insight into the region’s marine life, rounding out a delightful exploration of Makarska's many attractions.
