As my exploration continued, I found myself wandering through the picturesque Makarska Harbour, also 1 km away, where yachts and fishing boats bob gently in the water, offering a charming backdrop for leisurely walks. Nearby, Nature’s beauty unfolds in Park Šuma Osejava; this 1 km stretch invites visitors to explore its trails while enjoying panoramic views of the coastline. My curiosity led me to the Muzej riba i rakova, just 0.3 km from Kacic Square, showcasing an impressive collection of marine life. With landmarks like St. Mark's Church, the Observatory, and the City Museum all within walking distance (each roughly 0.5 to 1 km from the center), Makarska proved to be rich in culture and natural beauty, making it a perfect vacation destination.
