Guest House Take Time I Trogir

During my vacation in Trogir, I was fortunate enough to explore the charm and rich history of this beautifully preserved medieval town, which is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. One of the first landmarks I visited was the iconic North Gate, located just 0.3 kilometers from my accommodation. This stunning entrance to the city, flanked by ancient stone walls, serves as a perfect introduction to Trogir’s captivating atmosphere. The gate's intricate architecture and historical significance set the tone for my exploration of the town's many treasures.

Strolling through the narrow, cobblestone streets, I found myself at the Trogir City Hall, a mere 0.5 kilometers away from the North Gate. This grand building, with its beautiful façade and impressive clock tower, is a stunning example of Renaissance architecture that showcases the town’s rich cultural heritage. Nearby, the Central Square serves as the vibrant heart of Trogir, surrounded by charming cafés and shops. It's the ideal spot to soak in the local ambiance, with the stunning Church of St. Barbara just a short walk away. This 15th-century church features a captivating mix of Gothic and Romanesque styles and provides a glimpse into the artistic influences that shaped the town.

Another highlight of my visit was the Tower Kamerlengo, also located about 0.5 kilometers from the city hall. The well-preserved fortress offers breathtaking views of the surrounding coastline and the historic city itself. As I continued my exploration, I stumbled upon the Kairos Collection and the Croatian Anthem Plate, both of which contribute to Trogir's rich cultural narrative. The Kairos Collection showcases a range of Croatian artifacts that reflect the nation’s history, while the Croatian Anthem Plate commemorates the country’s national pride. Each landmark in Trogir, from the city hall to the serene corners of its historic streets, tells a story, making my vacation an enriching journey through time and culture.
