Gita - Modern Apartment & Room Split

During my vacation in Split, Croatia, I was immersed in the vibrant history and culture of the city. A highlight of my trip was visiting the iconic Diocletian's Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that dates back to the 4th century. Just a short walk from the palace, I explored the charming Republic Square, a lively gathering spot flanked by cafes and shops. Nearby, the Ethnographic Museum offered fascinating insights into the region's traditions, while the Croatian Maritime Museum showcased the rich nautical history of Split. Another unforgettable experience was wandering through the Live Museum Split, where I encountered interactive performances that brought the city’s history to life.

In addition to these historic landmarks, I had the opportunity to marvel at the impressive Cathedral of Saint Domnius, which is the oldest cathedral still in use in the world. A stroll through the city also led me to Gregory of Nin, a prominent statue that has become a symbol of Split, as well as the quirky Froggyland, featuring an unusual collection of stuffed frogs in various humorous scenes. For a touch of modernity, I visited Stadion Poljud, known for its striking architecture and as the home of the city's football team. Each site offered a unique glimpse into Split's rich tapestry of history and culture, making my vacation truly unforgettable.
