During my vacation in Makarska, I was captivated by the breathtaking coastal scenery and the vibrant atmosphere of this charming Croatian town. Nestled between the azure Adriatic Sea and the majestic Biokovo Mountain, Makarska serves as a perfect base for beach lovers and adventure seekers alike. One of the highlights of my trip was visiting the nearby Plaza Cvitacka, just 1 kilometer away, where the soft sand and clear waters provided a relaxing escape. Each day, I spent time lounging on the beach and enjoying the sun, immersing myself in the stunning views around me.

Exploring the local landmarks added a rich cultural layer to my experience. Just 2 kilometers from the town center, I found the iconic Makarska Harbour, a bustling spot filled with charming cafes and restaurants overlooking the sea. Nearby, the Malacological Museum piqued my interest with its impressive collection of seashells and marine life artifacts, while the nearby Sveti Petar Lighthouse offered picturesque views and a chance to capture stunning photos of the coastline. I also ventured to the serene Vepric Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes, located just 1 kilometer away, which provided a peaceful retreat and a glimpse into the spiritual heritage of the area.

Nature lovers will appreciate the proximity of Bilosevac and Ratac, both located a mere 0.5 kilometers from my accommodations. These tranquil spots offered picturesque trails and stunning vistas perfect for a leisurely stroll or a quick hike. As I continued to explore, I discovered Donja Luka beach and Plaza Ramova, both just 2 kilometers away, where I reveled in the local beach culture and enjoyed fresh seafood at nearby eateries. The combination of Makarska's natural beauty and rich history made it an unforgettable vacation destination, leaving me with cherished memories of sun-drenched days and the warm Croatian hospitality.
