Makarska, a charming coastal town located along Croatia's Dalmatian Coast, offers a delightful combination of breathtaking natural beauty and vibrant local culture. During my vacation, I took the time to relax at Plaza Cvitačka, a beautiful beach just 1 km away from the town center. Its crystal-clear waters and soft pebbles provide a perfect setting for sunbathing and swimming. The beach is family-friendly, with several nearby cafes and restaurants that serve delicious local cuisine. Just a short distance from there is the serene Bilosevac beach, also 1 km away, which is known for its peaceful ambiance, making it ideal for those looking to escape the crowds.

Exploring further, I made my way to the picturesque Donja Luka beach, situated 2 km from my accommodation. This beach boasts a lively promenade lined with shops and eateries, where visitors can enjoy fresh seafood and local delicacies while soaking in gorgeous views of the Adriatic Sea. A visit to the nearby Kacic Square, also 2 km away, revealed a charming town square surrounded by historical buildings, making it a great spot to capture memorable photographs and experience local life. The square often features live music and cultural events, adding to the vibrant atmosphere of Makarska.

For a touch of history and stunning views, I ventured to the Sveti Petar Lighthouse, located 2 km from the town. This picturesque landmark stands at the edge of a small peninsula and offers breathtaking vistas of the surrounding islands and the Biokovo mountain range. The lighthouse is a great spot for photography, especially during sunset.
