During my vacation in Split, I was captivated by the city's rich history and vibrant atmosphere. One of my first stops was the Split City Museum, located just 0.3 km from the bustling Riva waterfront, which serves as the lifeblood of the city. Strolling through the narrow streets of Old Split, I came across the impressive Gregory of Nin statue, a beloved symbol of the city, known for its large bronze foot that locals believe brings good luck when rubbed. The nearby Church of Saint Martin and the Temple of Jupiter added to the historical tapestry of the area, offering a glimpse into Split's multifaceted past. For a lighter experience, I visited Froggyland, a quirky museum featuring an entertaining display of stuffed frogs in various poses, that added a sense of whimsy to my cultural exploration.

As I continued my journey, I discovered the fascinating collections at the Ethnographic Museum and the Archaeological Museum Split, located about 2 km from the heart of the city. Both museums delve into Croatia's heritage and provide invaluable insights into its ancient civilizations. The Live Museum Split, just a short walk from the Riva, presented a unique interactive experience, allowing me to engage with historical figures dressed in period attire. Wandering through these landmarks, I couldn't help but feel immersed in the local culture, enriched by the blend of history and modern charm that defines Split. Each site I visited, from the serene Riva promenade to the impressive cathedral architecture, made my vacation an unforgettable journey through time.
