This UNESCO World Heritage site is a marvel of ancient Roman architecture, showcasing the impressive remnants of a palace built for Roman Emperor Diocletian in the 4th century AD. The Jadro River, a mere 2 kilometers away, offers a tranquil escape into nature, where I enjoyed a leisurely stroll along its banks, surrounded by lush greenery. The Museum of Senses Split, located just 1 kilometer from my stay, intrigued me with its interactive exhibits designed to challenge and enhance perception, proving to be a unique and engaging experience. After a day of exploration, I ventured to Kresimirova Street, also 2 kilometers away, where I indulged in local cuisine and enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere of the city.

For those seeking modern comforts, Plodine and Lidl Makarska, both 1-2 kilometers away, provided convenient shopping options, while the Salona Mall, just 1 kilometer from my lodging, offered a larger selection of retail and dining experiences. Additionally, the nearby Wettpunkt City Centar One, also a kilometer away, was perfect for a quick break or entertainment. For a stunning natural backdrop, I couldn't resist the opportunity to hike on Mosor Mountain, located just 2 kilometers from the city center. The breathtaking views from the summit rewarded my efforts and allowed me to appreciate Split's dynamic landscape—a perfect blend of urban life and natural splendor.
