During my vacation in Makarska, I was captivated by the stunning natural beauty and vibrant culture of this charming coastal town in Croatia. Just a short walk from my accommodation, the pristine Bilosevac Beach stretched invitingly along the azure waters of the Adriatic Sea, perfect for sunbathing and swimming. For those seeking a thrill, Parasailing Makarska offered an exhilarating experience that allowed me to soar above the coastline, taking in breathtaking views from the air. The town's proximity to the Vepric Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes, located only a kilometer away, also provided a serene retreat for contemplation and reflection amidst its lush gardens and peaceful ambiance.

As I ventured further into the heart of Makarska, I found myself drawn to several key landmarks, each adding to the town's unique charm. Donja Luka Beach, just two kilometers from my base, buzzed with energy and offered a range of water sports and cafes along the promenade. Nearby, Kacic Square served as a cultural hub, hosting music events and local gatherings, with the beautifully designed St. Marc Cathedral standing proudly at one end. My exploration also led me to the Observatory, where I marveled at the night sky, and I enjoyed leisurely strolls through the quaint streets lined with shops and restaurants, each corner revealing a new sight to behold. The mix of picturesque beaches, lively squares, and historical sites made my Makarska experience truly unforgettable.
