During my recent vacation in Makarska, I was captivated by the stunning scenery and vibrant atmosphere of this coastal town. One of my favorite activities was parasailing, which was conveniently located just 0.5 kilometers from my accommodation. Soaring above the azure waters offered a breathtaking perspective of the coastline and surrounding mountains. I also took leisurely strolls along Makarska Beach, only a kilometer away, where the soft sand and gentle waves created a perfect backdrop for relaxation. The nearby Donja Luka beach area, also 1 kilometer from my stay, was bustling with visitors enjoying water sports and sunbathing in the warm Mediterranean sun.

Exploring the town's landmarks was an enriching experience, with several attractions just a short distance away. The historic Sveti Petar Lighthouse, about 2 kilometers from the center, stood as a charming symbol of the area’s rich nautical heritage. Another notable site is Mlinice, located 2 kilometers from the main strip, where picturesque mill ruins and lush greenery made for an idyllic hike. Kacic Square, also about 2 kilometers away, offered a lively atmosphere with cafes and shops that provided an authentic taste of local culture. For those seeking a more tranquil retreat, Ratac, just a half kilometer away, was a hidden gem featuring stunning views and serene waters, making my vacation in Makarska a truly memorable experience.
