During my vacation in Omis, I was captivated by the stunning landscapes and rich cultural heritage that this charming coastal town has to offer. Just a short distance from my accommodation, the Franciscan Monastery provided a serene escape. Nestled about 5 kilometers from the center of Omis, this historic site is enveloped in tranquil gardens and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and sea. Additionally, I took a leisurely stroll to Plaza Mala Luka, just 2 kilometers away, where vibrant local life and charming cafés create an inviting atmosphere for relaxation and people-watching. The nearby Strand, located merely 3 kilometers from the town, is a beautiful beach that is perfect for sunbathing and enjoying the warm Adriatic waters.

Exploring further afield, I discovered the magnificent Fortress Mirabella, located 5 kilometers from Omis, which boasts panoramic views of the town and the river below. The fortress, originally built in the 13th century, offered a glimpse into the region's history and served as an excellent vantage point for capturing stunning photographs. I was also fortunate to visit St. Michael's Square, which is about 5 kilometers away, where I immersed myself in local culture and festivities. The Omis Riviera, stretching over 5 kilometers, is a picturesque coastline enriched with quaint villages and hidden beaches. Additionally, I was intrigued by the Pucisca Stonemasonry School, about 7 kilometers from Omis, where skilled artisans carry on the age-old craft of stone masonry. Each of these landmarks added a unique dimension to my vacation, making my stay in Omis truly unforgettable.
