Apartman Ante Split

During my vacation in Split, I was captivated by the city's rich history and vibrant atmosphere. Just a short 2 km stroll from our accommodation brought me to Old Split, where ancient Roman architecture seamlessly intertwines with lively cafes and shops. One of the highlights was visiting Diocletian's Palace, an impressive UNESCO World Heritage Site that features monumental walls and intricate architecture, built in the 4th century. The Palace houses several landmarks including the Cathedral of Saint Domnius, with its stunning bell tower offering panoramic views of the city. I also explored the Ethnographic Museum Split, where I delved into the local culture and traditions, enhancing my appreciation for the region's heritage.

No visit to Split would be complete without experiencing the picturesque Riva, the bustling waterfront promenade lined with palm trees and vibrant cafes. A mere 2 km from the port, the Riva is the perfect spot to relax and take in the stunning views of the Adriatic Sea. I also ventured to Froggyland, an unusual and whimsical museum just a short walk away, showcasing a fascinating collection of stuffed frogs in various playful scenarios, which was both amusing and quirky. In addition to the cultural attractions, I couldn’t help but marvel at Stadion Poljud, known for its stunning architecture and hosting various sporting events. The blend of history, culture, and modernity in Split made my vacation an unforgettable experience, filled with exploration and discovery.
