Just a short walk away from my accommodation, I discovered the Live Museum Split, which provides an immersive experience into the historical daily life of the region through interactive exhibits. Not far from there, the Ethnographic Museum invites visitors to explore Croatia's traditional customs and lifestyles, showcasing artifacts that span centuries. Of course, my exploration wouldn’t be complete without visiting the iconic Cathedral of Saint Domnius, an architectural masterpiece that has stood the test of time and serves as a poignant reminder of Split’s storied past.

As I strolled along the picturesque Riva promenade, the lively atmosphere drew me in, filled with local cafes, vendors, and stunning views of the Adriatic Sea. Nearby, I took the opportunity to visit Froggyland, a quirky museum featuring a fascinating collection of taxidermy frogs in playful scenes that delighted visitors of all ages. Old Split's cobblestone streets and charming squares were a joy to wander through, leading me to the ancient Temple of Jupiter, where the rich history of the Roman Empire comes to life. Finally, the Split Port offered a picturesque setting for enjoying fresh seafood while watching boats come and go, epitomizing the essence of this coastal gem. My time in Split was a perfect blend of history, culture, and natural beauty that left me longing for a return visit to this enchanting destination.
